The Game!
Â
One stormy dark night Samantha was reading her book with her small red round reading glasses. Her sister Diana was doing her homework. When Diana was finishing off her work she caught a glimpse of something black and yellow. It was shining with the beautiful color of gold. She looked at it closely with her eye. She noticed that on the side it said ‘The Game’. When she got up from her chair Diana reached down to pick the game up with her long skinny arms. The instructions said, you will now discover the magical hole to the magical land of the game. Diana studied the box and wonderd what it meant. As she put the box lid back on, Samantha was banging on the door.Â
Â
The next morning Samantha was making her grandma hot chocolate. Diana came in and told Samantha to come to her room when she was done making the hot chocolate. Samantha was worried so she went up to Diana. Diana was telling Samantha about the weird saying on the box. It read, you will be sucked up in a few moments to go to the game. Diana looked puzzled. It did not say that before, she thought or did it? Diana was confused. Samantha was confused too, as Diana told Samantha that the saying did not say that before. Then a few seconds later the game’s box was starting to shake. All of a sudden the lid blew off! The girls were scared and screaming and then a second later they were gone!
Â
As they were screaming and yelling they were being sucked up into a pink hole. Diana thought she was going in a magical world or something. Then a moment later they were laying on the top of a hill. Samantha looked at the box it said, welcome to the magical land of the game.Samantha was telling Diana about how she thought the box told the instructions to get further in the game. Then they started walking where the box told them to go. It said follow the blue arrows to the Gumdrop house. So Diana and Samantha followed the arrows. In the corner they had seen a little pink and blue house. After they looked around they heard the sound of laughing. It was kind of a screaming laugh. All of a sudden there was a witch standing in front of them. Ahhhh! the girls yelled and magically Samantha and Diana fell asleep.
Diana woke up in a big round pot screaming and yelling so much.Â
    ”I am scared,” said Diana
”Time for some stew” the witch said.  Â
Samantha woke up and had seen her sister in the pot. The witch was heating up the pot with her long green nasty hands. Diana was yelling because the pot was really getting hot. Samantha was scared so she kept trying to bite the string she was tied with. Diana was yelling and screaming as she told Samantha to hurry up.
Â
Three hours earlier there grandma was getting very worried. But then she saw the nice color of gold.
Oh,”they did not get out that game said grandma.”
So then their grandma decided to get sucked up in the game because they could be trapped by the witch. After grandma was getting sucked up in the hole she heard the loud screaming of the girls. When the grandma got to the gumdrop house she slammed the door open like two crazy cows! The witch had seen the grandma but very quickly the grandma saw the witch’s poison on the shelf nearby and threw it on the witch. Diana was so happy.Â
”The witch is melting,” told Samantha. Then Samantha bit off the final string and then she was biting off Diana’s string. Grandma was asking if the girls where OK. They both said they where OK. Then all of a sudden the witch came back to life magically.Â
Samantha said ”Maybe grandma did not put enough poison on the witch.” Grandma was shaking a lot.Â
“Ah ah ah,” the witch yelled. Diana found a magic mirror in the corner. She picked the mirror up and and let the glare from the mirror reflect on her face.Â
The witch said “The light was to bright.” Then she started to fade away slowly.Â
“She is gone.” said Diana. “Let’s get the game.” Diana told Samantha.
Â
After the family got the game they quickly got sucked back up in it. When they arrived home there grandma said,”that you will never speak of the game or all the magical things that happend.”
