School Times!

Filed under: Uncategorized — y6ksclarissa at 5:38 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2008

I am so happy about school. I just love the fun work and the projects we are doing. My most favorite project we are doing is the science one. My reason for liking it is because, we get to decorate a poster and I love to draw and colour. It’s so nice to do that because you get to use your imagination. That’s the most fun!

Another thing I like about school is the work. Their is a lot of work but I manage to get it done in time. It’s just the perfect amount of work to keep me so busy! It’s also quit fun also to be doing it. But sometimes I just can’t handle it more!

But I love school so much!!!

 The Game!

One stormy dark night Samantha was reading her book with her small red round reading glasses. Her sister Diana was doing her homework. When Diana was finishing off her work she caught a glimpse of something black and yellow. It was shining with the beautiful color of gold. She looked at it closely with her eye. She noticed that on the side it said ‘The Game’. When she got up from her chair Diana reached down to pick the game up with her long skinny arms. The instructions said, you will now discover the magical hole to the magical land of the game. Diana studied the box and wonderd what it meant. As she put the box lid back on, Samantha was banging on the door.

The next morning Samantha was making her grandma hot chocolate. Diana came in and told Samantha to come to her room when she was done making the hot chocolate. Samantha was worried so she went up to Diana. Diana was telling Samantha about the weird saying on the box. It read, you will be sucked up in a few moments to go to the game. Diana looked puzzled. It did not say that before, she thought or did it? Diana was confused. Samantha was confused too, as Diana told Samantha that the saying did not say that before. Then a few seconds later the game’s box was starting to shake. All of a sudden the lid blew off! The girls were scared and screaming and then a second later they were gone!

As they were screaming and yelling they were being sucked up into a pink hole. Diana thought she was going in a magical world or something. Then a moment later they were laying on the top of a hill. Samantha looked at the box it said, welcome to the magical land of the game.Samantha was telling Diana about how she thought the box told the instructions to get further in the game. Then they started walking where the box told them to go. It said follow the blue arrows to the Gumdrop house. So Diana and Samantha followed the arrows. In the corner they had seen a little pink and blue house. After they looked around they heard the sound of laughing. It was kind of a screaming laugh. All of a sudden there was a witch standing in front of them. Ahhhh! the girls yelled and magically Samantha and Diana fell asleep.
Diana woke up in a big round pot screaming and yelling so much.
    ”I am scared,” said Diana
”Time for some stew” the witch said.
Samantha woke up and had seen her sister in the pot. The witch was heating up the pot with her long green nasty hands. Diana was yelling because the pot was really getting hot. Samantha was scared so she kept trying to bite the string she was tied with. Diana was yelling and screaming as she told Samantha to hurry up.

Three hours earlier there grandma was getting very worried. But then she saw the nice color of gold.
Oh,”they did not get out that game said grandma.”
So then their grandma decided to get sucked up in the game because they could be trapped by the witch. After grandma was getting sucked up in the hole she heard the loud screaming of the girls. When the grandma got to the gumdrop house she slammed the door open like two crazy cows! The witch had seen the grandma but very quickly the grandma saw the witch’s poison on the shelf nearby and threw it on the witch. Diana was so happy.
”The witch is melting,” told Samantha. Then Samantha bit off the final string and then she was biting off Diana’s string. Grandma was asking if the girls where OK. They both said they where OK. Then all of a sudden the witch came back to life magically.
Samantha said ”Maybe grandma did not put enough poison on the witch.” Grandma was shaking a lot.
“Ah ah ah,” the witch yelled. Diana found a magic mirror in the corner. She picked the mirror up and and let the glare from the mirror reflect on her face.
The witch said “The light was to bright.” Then she started to fade away slowly.
“She is gone.” said Diana. “Let’s get the game.” Diana told Samantha.

After the family got the game they quickly got sucked back up in it. When they arrived home there grandma said,”that you will never speak of the game or all the magical things that happend.”

Wetlands Trip!

Filed under: Uncategorized — y6ksclarissa at 4:36 am on Wednesday, October 8, 2008  Tagged

Today the year six all went to the wetlands park in Hong Kong. The reason we went their is to see the different habitats each animal has. Some animals we seen were, the Salt Water crocodile and if you look at the animal he has little feet and his claws are very sharp. Next we seen three water snakes slithering around in the water. When we seen the snakes one of them was camouflaging in the leaves so you could not really see him. When we seen the other two snakes they were slithering in the water. After that we all walked and seen very large fish swimming.  Pui Pui

My opinion on this park is good. It looks like a very well cared for park. My reason for liking the park is because their are a lot of animals so that means they like their homes they live in. Their is shade for the animals so they do not get hot and that is a good thing. The water is pretty clear for the animals. They have plants and food for them. The animals are in good shape. My opinion on the snakes is good because I like their very nice pattern on it’s skin. Also they are good hiders. Well that’s my post. Also I have a link for you to look at http://www.wetlandpark.com/en/index.asp.

Hi everyone,

Today I was just riding horses. In class we where pretending that we where show jumpers in the final round. It was fun a lot of fun actually. But the real reason I am here is to talk about riding so far. Lets get started. First of all it has been amazing how much fun my group has. My instructor is very nice and likes to play around with our group but I think he does that with all the groups. All the group members I ride with are really great. Actually I think they can ride very well. We all ride good. Last but not least I love Pok Fu Lam riding stable!

Our World!

I think all of us in this world should care about the  people in Africa. Those people do not have enough money to go to school, the people can not eat and drink so much because they can not afford it. Just giving them a little something makes them so happy. You can help this by, donating  snacks and bottles and bottles of water. Old clean toys will help the younger children play and have a lot of fun. Like I said giving them a little something makes them happy!

Pollution!

I am not very happy about the pollution in Hong Kong. It is bad and it makes people cough and unhappy! I think some factories should stop running for awhile because of it. Learn more about it on the Internet and ways you can stop the pollution. It is not good, so please help if you can! Don’t forget I really care about this pollution. It is something we should all care about.  I heard about one school in Hong Kong that did not let the kids outside to play because of the pollution. That’s very sad that the kids can’t play! I will tell you about a good website! http://www.epd-asg.gov.hk/english/24pollu/24pc.php

Riding Lessons

I enjoy taking riding lessons at Pok Fu Lam. There are six other girls that I ride with and we love to trail ride. In the lessons  we trot, canter ,play games and also ride bareback. The pony I ride is named Myara. She is sweet and I think Myara likes me. She loves to to speed up when I am not looking but I have to slow her down. The other horse loves apples and carrots. He begs for them when the food is around! That’s my life at Pok Fu Lam!!!
